OUR STORY
In 2014, Co-owners Sumitra and Liz were both working at a spa while pursuing their professional registration exams - Sumitra for Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) and Liz for Acupuncture (RAc). During this time, they discovered a shared passion for integrative healthcare and began envisioning how they could enhance patient and practitioner outcomes by collaborating more closely.
Their discussions about improving healthcare delivery led them to dream of opening their own clinic. Over the years, both Sumitra and Liz gained valuable experience in various practice settings and learned from a range of clinic owners and practitioners across different disciplines. Through these experiences, they recognized that the concept of “health” is multifaceted, and patients benefit most in a multidisciplinary environment where there is genuine collaboration and respect among various health professions.
This realization laid the groundwork for Holistik Health, a clinic founded on the principles of integrative care and collaborative practice. At Holistik Health, the goal is to create an environment where diverse healthcare disciplines work together seamlessly to support the overall well-being of patients.
